Plamen Iliev

I trained as a guide focused on Plovdiv's ancient Thracian history, and Nebet Tepe is still the hill I most enjoy climbing, since it holds the oldest fortified settlement on this site, predating even the Roman city built later around it. On camera I climb the hill slowly, pointing out the surviving fortification walls and the view over the newer Old Town below. I keep a formal, detailed pace and welcome specific questions about the Thracian period. Video works well for a hilltop ruin, since the camera can hold a wide view in a way a single photograph from ground level cannot.
