Reet Ilves

I grew up in Supilinn, on one of the streets named after a vegetable, and I still notice which houses have kept their original woodwork and which have not. My sessions move slowly through those streets before crossing into Karlova, since the two districts show two different chapters of the same wooden building tradition. I like pointing the camera at small details, a carved door frame or a particular shade of paint, rather than trying to cover the whole district in one pass. I keep sessions relaxed and leave the last few minutes open for questions about either neighbourhood.
