I studied history close to the park where the independence monument stands, so the walk from there to the river has been part of my daily routine for years. My sessions usually follow that same route, since it links a national symbol with the working river that shaped the city long before independence. I like explaining what a monument or a building replaced rather than only what stands there now. I keep a calm pace and leave the last stretch of every session open for questions.
