Rocío Vílchez

I am an official tourist guide of Andalusia with a doctorate in medieval history from the University of Granada. My thesis was on water supply in the Nasrid palaces, which means I can talk about the Alhambra's irrigation channels for longer than most people want to listen. I will not. On my Alhambra visit we cover the Nasrid Palaces, the Alcazaba and the Generalife in three hours, and I focus on how the complex was actually lived in: who slept where, what the inscriptions say, why the fountains sit at the height they do.
