Sandra Bilić

I grew up in Fažana, the small harbour everyone passes through on the way to the islands offshore, and I still live close enough to film the boats before they leave each morning. In the evenings I move the camera down to the strip of bars south of the old town, a different side of Pula after dark. Seven years of guiding here has taught me how differently the same stretch of coast reads in morning light and at night. I speak Italian from family on my mother's side, which comes in useful more often than expected.
