Sara Perović

I trained briefly as a cook before I started guiding, and food from this coast is still what I enjoy explaining most. On camera I follow what the harbourfront restaurants and the old town's smaller taverns actually serve, from the fish market corner to a row of konobas just off the main street. My other session moves out to a monastery set among olive groves just outside town, where I also compare its frescoes with those in one of the old town's own churches. I keep both sessions detailed, and I am happy to go deep into either food or fresco style depending on what someone asks.
