Sibel Turan

I have lived in Kadıköy since university, and I still do my own shopping at the Tuesday market before I ever film it for anyone else. I trained as a guide to show the Asian side properly, since most visitors never get past the old peninsula on the other shore. On camera I like walking a street art alley slowly enough that viewers can actually read what is painted rather than catching a blur as I pass. My favourite stop is always Moda's seafront at sunset, because the light there tells you more about the neighbourhood than any fact I could add.
