I grew up a few streets from Jomas Street, so I know which wooden villas have the best carved balconies without having to look them up. My sessions usually follow the coastline first and then turn inland to the timber houses, since the two sides of Jūrmala tell very different stories about the same resort. On camera I like pausing longer on a single villa's detail than rushing past ten of them, because the carving is what makes this town different from any other beach. I keep a warm pace throughout and save real time at the end for questions about the buildings or the beach.
