Sigrid Haugland

I am a certified guide in Bergen and have been guiding in the city and on the fjords for fifteen years. Before that I taught history and French at a school in Fana for many years, and I still enjoy explaining things carefully. My family has lived in Bergen for generations. My great-great-grandfather was a clerk for a German merchant on Bryggen, and I still have his account book. I speak Norwegian, English, German and French. I am calm and thorough, and I prepare each group well. For the fjord day, I use a local driver I have worked with for many years. These days you can join me from anywhere: I walk Bergen live with my phone and answer questions on the spot.
