Sigríður Halldórsdóttir

I trained as an architect before moving into guiding, so Reykjavik's mix of modern glass buildings and older civic ones is what I actually notice first walking through the city. My sessions move between the glass dome above the old hot water tanks and the pond in front of City Hall, showing how very different buildings share the same small city. Four years of guiding on video has taught me to let a building's form sit on screen properly before I explain the ideas behind it. I answer questions as they come and always send further reading afterwards for anyone curious.
