Sinéad Moriarty

I grew up on the Muckross road and spent childhood weekends cycling past the abbey and the walled gardens, so that estate is where I feel most at home on camera. I studied heritage management in Tralee and worked seasonally as a guide inside Muckross House before moving fully onto video. I like slowing down at the abbey's old yew tree and letting the ruins sit on screen before I explain their history. Five years of guiding here has taught me to follow what a viewer is curious about rather than a fixed script, and I always answer questions properly rather than saving them for later.
