I have lived two minutes from the Old Port my whole life, so I know exactly when the fishing boats come in and when the light on La Corniche turns properly gold. On camera I like showing the working side of Marseille before the streets fill up, whether that is a crate of fish or the cathedral's striped stone catching the early sun. I trained as a local guide years ago and switched to video without much difficulty, since most of what I explain works just as well through a phone. I ask people what pace they want before we start, and I keep to it.
