Stevie Gallacher

Music brought me to Glasgow originally, and most of my sessions still centre on the small venues that shaped the city's reputation for gigs. On camera I like standing outside a venue at the point in the evening when the queue starts forming, since that moment says more about the place than an empty room ever could. I used to promote gigs myself before training as a guide, so I have a lot of stories about bands that played these rooms before anyone had heard of them. Video works well for this since I can time a session for exactly the right moment in the evening.
