I studied at the same university that fills Wippolder with bikes every morning, and I like showing that side of Delft alongside the postcard canals most visitors expect. My sessions usually start at the Prinsenhof, where I explain the assassination of William of Orange in some detail, since the bullet holes in the wall make the story hard to look away from. I keep my pace slow through the museum courtyard and quicker once we reach the ordinary streets, so a viewer feels the shift between the two parts of the city.
