I spent twenty years working in the civil service around Whitehall before I retired and started guiding the same streets I used to walk to work every day. My sessions cover Westminster from the outside, the Abbey's exterior, the bridge facing Big Ben, and the quieter government buildings most visitors walk straight past. I know which viewpoints actually work on camera and which ones just show a wall of railings, since I spent two decades noticing exactly that on my own commute. I keep sessions fairly formal, since that is simply how I am used to talking about this part of the city.
