I have been walking this town on camera since video calls were a novelty rather than the whole business, and Stratford still turns up something new after twelve years of it. My usual route crosses Clopton Bridge at the point where the stonework changes from mediaeval arches to a Victorian widening, a join almost nobody notices from a car. On summer evenings I sometimes run a session from Cox's Yard with the music starting up behind me, because the town is not only a daytime museum piece. I speak slowly on screen and repeat place names so viewers can write them down without asking twice.
