Tomás Vaquero

I run along Segovia's city walls most mornings, which is probably why I know every gap and gate in them better than most residents twice my age. On camera I walk the walls and the old Jewish quarter tucked just inside them, pointing out where the defences are original and where later repairs are obvious once you know what to look for. I studied history at a local college and still read about the city's medieval period for fun. I keep the pace brisk on the open stretches of wall and slower once we reach the narrower lanes.
