I studied at this university and never really left, which is probably why the Patio de Escuelas and Plaza Mayor still feel like home rather than tourist ground to me. On camera I walk the university's ornate facade first, since finding the hidden frog carved into the stonework is something every student tries once, and then move to the square everyone eventually ends up in anyway. I have taught adult literacy classes on the side for years, so I am used to explaining things clearly rather than assuming background knowledge. I keep the pace steady and check in often to see if something needs repeating.
