About Yusuf
I have lived below Uçhisar Castle my whole life, so I know the village and the rock formation better than any guide could learn in a single season. On camera I keep to the paths around the base of the castle, since the structure itself is fragile and mostly closed. I also take viewers out to Love Valley, where the tall rock spires are easier to understand once you see them up close rather than from a distance. I keep my sessions short and to the point, letting the landscape carry most of the explanation.
