I worked as a heritage guide on Castle Hill for over fifteen years before moving these walks onto video. I show the walls of Buda Castle and explain how the whole hill was rebuilt after wartime damage nearly levelled it. On a second session I climb toward Matthias Church and the Fisherman's Bastion, pointing out details in the roof tiles and towers most visitors miss. On a third I go underground into the Hospital in the Rock, a wartime bunker hospital carved beneath the hill. I keep a formal, detailed pace and welcome long questions about any period.
