Nordnes tip and the aquarium, from outside
Highlights
- The fjord opening out at the peninsula's tip
- Ferries passing close to shore
- Seals and Arctic fish, described from outside
- A short walk to close out a longer day
- Nordnes, seen all the way to its end
About this tour
This short session walks out to the tip of the Nordnes peninsula and past the aquarium building from outside. You see the open fjord where ferries pass close to shore and the aquarium's exterior at the very end of the point. Guro keeps the pace brisk, treating it as a lighter follow-up to her fortress session.
She moves quickly out to the tip, since the walk itself is short, then slows briefly outside the aquarium to describe what is kept inside. Questions about specific animals come up often, and she answers them from what she knows of the collection.
This suits anyone wanting a short, easy session to close out a day of longer ones. It also pairs naturally with Guro's fortress walk for a fuller day in Bergen.

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 5 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Bergen before heading out.
-
Nordnes tip 15 min
The camera reaches the very end of the peninsula, where the fjord opens out and ferries pass close to shore on their way in and out of the harbour.
-
Aquarium from outside 15 min
Outside the aquarium building I describe a handful of the species kept inside, from seals to Arctic fish, without the camera going through the doors.
-
Your questions 7 min
Time to ask anything about Bergen: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 3 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Smoked salmon and Bryggen, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
