The Charlottenburg gardens in bloom
Highlights
- A parterre planted to hold its pattern
- A pond built for drainage, not decoration
- Spring bloom, explained on camera
- Baroque planting, season by season
- Charlottenburg's gardens at their best
About this tour
This session stays in the Charlottenburg gardens during their spring bloom, from the formal parterre to a quiet carp pond further in. You see the specific planting scheme used to keep the geometric pattern visible through the season. The session finishes at the pond, originally part of the garden's water management system rather than purely decorative.
We open with a short sound check at the parterre. I walk slowly through the beds and pause at the pond for questions about the planting and its upkeep. Afterwards I send a short note on the best months to see it in bloom.
This suits anyone who wants a calmer, seasonal session focused on the garden alone. It also works well paired with the fuller palace and gardens tour.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
