Bordeaux wine regions, explained on a call
Highlights
- A wine map explained live on camera
- Regions compared by soil and style
- A shortlist built around your own taste
- Practical questions checked in real time
- A written list to keep afterwards
About this tour
This call is a plain conversation about the wine regions around the city, using a map I hold up to the camera rather than a walk anywhere. We cover what separates the main areas from each other, then narrow things down to a shortlist based on what you tell me you enjoy. I explain the reasoning behind each suggestion as we go.
We start with the map and the big picture, then move into your own questions once the basics are covered, and I check what you say against what is easy to find near you. A written shortlist follows by message after the call.
This suits anyone planning a trip or just curious about the wine without wanting to commit to a full walking session. It also works well as a shorter add-on to a longer call.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
