About this tour
This session covers the UFO observation deck, set on top of the SNP Bridge's single pylon. You see the bridge and its unusual saucer-shaped deck from street level, then the view itself from the top, taking in the old town and, on a clear day, hills toward the Austrian border. It is a short session built entirely around one striking viewpoint.
I start at street level to show the bridge's shape before moving to the deck view itself, where I hold the camera steady for longer than most stops. Questions come in throughout, and I answer them once at the top, where there is time to talk without rushing. A short note on the best time of day to see it follows once we finish.
This suits anyone who wants Bratislava from above rather than only its streets. It also works well in the late afternoon, when the light across the river is clearest.
