About this tour
This session follows an aperitivo evening through Florence's Oltrarno, the artisan quarter across the Arno, starting on Piazza Santo Spirito as the church facade catches the last light. You see the bar near the old Negroni family palace where the cocktail takes its name, then move to a small enoteca for a last glass of wine. The route stays inside a handful of Oltrarno streets rather than covering the whole city.
The call opens with a quick sound check, then follows the walk stop by stop, pausing at each bar so you can ask questions about the drinks or the neighbourhood. Afterwards a short list of the bars and dishes shown goes out by message.

Inside a bar close to the old Negroni family palace, you watch the bartender build a Negroni and hear how the drink got its name, with crostini and fried coccoli and stracchino set out on the counter.

A small Oltrarno enoteca 21 min
The last stop is a narrow enoteca where the guide points out a bottle of Chianti Rufina and explains what sets the hill wines of the Rufina area apart from Chianti Classico.
