About this tour
This short session covers the Belfry of Ghent and the square around it. You see the UNESCO-listed tower from below and hear the story of its dragon weathervane, then step back to take in the cloth hall beside it. It is a focused look at one of Ghent's three great towers.
We start with a sound check right at the base of the tower, since the square can be busy. I move back for the second stop and take your questions about the belfry or the cloth trade as we go. A short reading note follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone with limited time who still wants a proper explanation of Ghent's skyline. It also works well as a quick add-on before or after a longer session.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

- A short list of places to visit later

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
