Empordà vermouth, explained on a call
Highlights
- Empordà vermouth, label explained on camera
- What separates it from coastal styles
- A close look at ingredients and colour
- A short list of bottles to find
- Catalan drinking culture, explained simply
About this tour
This short call is a close look at Empordà vermouth from a home terrace, not a walk through the streets. You see the bottle and label up close while I explain the Empordà style and how it differs from vermouth made further along the Catalan coast. It is a focused explanation, not a tasting session.
I open with a quick sound and light check, then walk through the label and the ingredients on camera before taking your questions. Afterwards I send a short list of where to find good Empordà vermouth if you want to look for it yourself.
This suits anyone curious about Catalan drinking culture without needing a full walking session. It also works well as a short add-on after a longer Girona call.

Questions about this tour
What will the call cover?
The guide talks you through Girona: where to go, what to eat, and answers to whatever you ask.
What happens if the call drops?
The guide will try you again straight away.
Can I ask the guide questions during the session, or is it a fixed script?
Anything, any time. Sessions leave room for your own questions throughout, not just at the end.
Do I need to buy or cook anything?
No. This is a conversation: the guide describes the dishes and where to find them, so you can try them yourself whenever suits you.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
