I worked for years at Casa Masó before I started guiding, so I can point out details in Rafael Masó's furniture and windows that most visitors walk straight past. On the vermouth call I set my glass and the bottle where the camera can see the label, and I explain what makes Empordà vermouth different from the style made further down the coast. I trained in art history and it shows in how I frame a shot, always looking for the pattern or the proportion first. I keep both sessions slow and detailed rather than trying to cover too much ground in one call.
