About this tour
This session walks the hill neighbourhoods across from the Alhambra, from the Mirador de San Nicolás into the lanes of the Albaicín and up into Sacromonte. You see the old Moorish medina, its walled gardens and cisterns, and the cave houses cut into the hillside. It is Granada seen from the side that faces the fortress rather than from inside it.
A short sound check opens the call, then the guide climbs the hill stop by stop, pausing wherever the view or the street asks for it. Questions come in live, and a short list of the spots covered follows afterwards by message.
This suits anyone who wants Granada's skyline explained rather than just photographed. It also suits viewers planning a visit who want to know which lanes are worth the climb.

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 7 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Granada before heading out.
-
Mirador de San Nicolás 21 min
From the viewpoint of San Nicolás, the camera looks straight across the valley at the Alhambra, exactly the angle the city is best known for. The guide points out the walls and towers as the light changes over the valley.
-
Albaicín lanes 21 min
Walking the narrow lanes of the old medina, the camera passes Moorish cisterns still built into the hillside and the high walls of the cármenes, the walled house gardens that give the Albaicín its shade. The guide explains how water once moved through the quarter.
-
Sacromonte cave houses 21 min
The camera follows the hillside path into Sacromonte, past cave houses dug into the rock and still lived in today. The guide describes how the quarter grew up around these dwellings and its long connection with flamenco.
-
Your questions 14 min
Time to ask anything about Granada: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 6 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Tapas served free with drinks and Albaicín, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
