About this tour
This evening walk moves through three stages of Heidelberg's old student nightlife. You see carved names inside a centuries-old tavern, the quieter, later version of Hauptstraße, and a small hidden beer garden behind the street. It traces one evening's route rather than covering the whole old town.
We start inside where it is easiest to film details up close, then move outside as the street changes character after dark. I take questions on the history of student societies as we go and send a short list of names afterwards.
This suits anyone curious about student traditions rather than only monuments. It also works well as a later session after an afternoon spent on the castle or the bridge.
