Çamlıca Hill panorama
Highlights
- Both Bosphorus bridges in one frame
- The historic peninsula, seen from Asia
- A mosque built to be visible citywide
- Istanbul's districts named from above
- The highest point on the Asian side
About this tour
This session climbs Çamlıca Hill for the wide panorama it offers over both sides of the Bosphorus. You see the historic peninsula, both bridges and the exterior of the hill's large mosque from a single high point. Kaan names the districts visible in each direction, tying the view back to everywhere else covered in his other sessions.
The call opens with a sound check at the viewpoint, then turns toward the mosque as the light allows. Kaan answers questions about what is visible in each direction and sends a short note afterwards naming the districts covered.
This suits anyone who wants the wider shape of Istanbul from above rather than only ground-level streets. It also works well as a closing session after visiting several districts named from the hill.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
