About this tour
This session moves through Yedikule Fortress, the Seven Towers built to combine the historic city walls with a new Ottoman fortification. You see the fortress entrance, the inside of one tower and the view along the connecting wall. Burcu explains the fortress's later use as a prison and the marks that use left behind.
The call opens with a sound check at the entrance, then moves through a tower before climbing to the wall walk. Burcu answers questions throughout and sends a short timeline afterwards covering the fortress's different uses.
