About this tour
This session follows a Polish food route through Kazimierz and the Old Town, from a żurek stall to a pierogi kitchen, an oscypek cheese stall and the zapiekanka hall at Plac Nowy. The guide explains where each dish comes from and why it is eaten the way it is. It is a look at everyday Polish food rather than a restaurant guide.
The call opens with a sound check, then moves stop by stop between kitchen, stall and market hall, pausing wherever something is being made fresh. A short list of where to try each dish follows once the call ends.
This suits anyone curious about Polish food before or after a trip, or anyone who enjoys watching food being made. It also works well around a mealtime at home.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
