This session follows the Seven Hanging Valleys trail from Praia da Marinha, taking in the cliff above the Benagil sea cave and the dry valleys that give the trail its name. The guide finishes near Praia do Carvalho, pointing out the fig, almond and medronho trees that line the path. It is a clifftop walk built around geology as much as the views themselves.

The camera looks down on Praia da Marinha from the clifftop path, and the guide explains why this stretch of coast is considered one of the most striking on the whole trail.

Further along, the trail reaches a point directly above the Benagil sea cave, and the guide explains how the opening in its roof formed and why it usually looks different depending on the tide below.
