Palms, promenade and the town beach
Highlights
- Palm trees defining the whole seafront
- A promenade that changes by the hour
- The best light, explained by a regular
- A simple, unhurried seafront walk
- A runner's own daily route
About this tour
This session walks the length of Finikoudes, Larnaca's palm-lined seafront promenade, at the pace of someone who runs it most mornings. You see the beach and palms as they change through the day and hear how this stretch became the town's defining image. It stays on the public promenade throughout.
I walk at an easy pace, pointing out which stretch of palms catches the best light before the beach fills up, and take questions as we go. The route stays simple and unhurried.
This suits anyone wanting a straightforward seafront orientation. It also works well early in the morning or toward sunset for the light.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
