About this tour
This evening call starts at La Puntilla, the quieter, rockier northern end of Las Canteras favoured by local swimmers. Javier then turns the camera south along the full curve of the beach as the light changes. The session is built around how the same stretch of sand looks and feels completely different once the day's heat has gone.
Javier begins at La Puntilla with a short check of the light and signal before the sun gets too low. He talks through the changing colour of the water as he walks south, answering questions about tides and currents along the way, and sends a short note on the best viewing times afterwards.
It suits viewers who prefer a calmer, more local side of the beach over its busiest daytime stretch. Anyone planning an evening near the water will get a clear sense of where locals actually go.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
