About this tour
This session mixes food and street art across Liverpool, from the city's Chinese arch and Chinatown to the converted warehouses of the Baltic Triangle. You see a food hall where scouse is served alongside stalls from around the world, murals covering entire walls, and a brewery tap where the guide talks with the brewer about the beer made there. It moves from the oldest part of the city's immigrant history to its newest creative quarter.
The call begins with a sound check, then walks between the two areas at an easy pace, stopping wherever a wall or a stall has a story worth telling. Questions come along the way, and a short list of the food halls, murals and the brewery follows by message afterwards.
This suits anyone interested in Liverpool's food history and its street art in the same session. It also suits those who want to see a side of the city well away from the Beatles trail.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
