About this tour
This session walks through Soho, Málaga's street art district, from one of its largest murals to a cluster of smaller works along a side street. You see how the neighbourhood's look has changed across the years the annual festival behind it has run. The route stays inside a few blocks, moving slowly to let each piece register properly.
We begin at the large mural with a short check of the light, then move to the side street, pausing at several smaller works along the way. I answer questions about individual artists as we go and send a short list of names afterward.
This suits anyone interested in contemporary art outside a gallery setting, and travellers who enjoy discovering work block by block. It runs best in the late afternoon, when the light hits most of the walls directly.

A large-scale mural 21 min
The camera holds on one of the district's largest murals, several storeys tall, and I explain how it was commissioned through an annual urban art festival that has run here since the early 2010s.
-
A side-street collection 21 min
You see a cluster of smaller works along a side street, painted by different artists across several years, and I point out how the district's style has shifted over that time.

Time to ask anything about Malaga: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 4 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Migas malagueñas and Soho, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
