Mdina's noble families, a chat over Maltese tea
Highlights
- Noble families behind Mdina's palaces
- Stories told from the city walls
- History through people, not just dates
- A terrace view over the old capital
- A short, personal look at old Malta
About this tour
This call talks through the noble families who once lived in Mdina's palaces, told from a terrace built into the city walls. You hear specific stories rather than a general history, since the call focuses on a handful of families and what became of them. It stays centred on this one topic throughout.
I talk through a few family stories in turn, checking in for questions as I go, and follow whichever one interests you most. I send a short note afterwards with the names and palaces mentioned.
It suits anyone who enjoys history told through specific people rather than dates. It works well as a short add-on to a walking session inside the walls.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
