- Narikala Fortress above the old town
- Carved wooden balconies, lit at dusk
- Metekhi Church on its cliff
- The Bridge of Peace over the Mtkvari
About this tour
This evening session walks old Tbilisi as the light drops, from Narikala Fortress above the rooftops to Metekhi Church on its cliff over the river. You see the fortress walls rebuilt many times since they first went up, carved wooden balconies lighting up one by one, and the Bridge of Peace crossing the Mtkvari below the church. It is a short, atmospheric loop through the oldest part of the city.
The call opens with a sound check, then follows the old town's lanes uphill and back down towards the river as evening sets in. Questions come as you go, and a short list of what you saw is sent afterwards.
This suits anyone who wants a short, calm look at Tbilisi at the end of the day. It also suits those short on time who still want a live glimpse of the old town.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
