About this tour
This is a street food walk through Palermo's Ballarò and Capo markets, covering panelle and crocchè, arancina, sfincione and the spleen sandwich pani ca' meusa. You see fritters going into hot oil, a bakery pulling sfincione from the oven, and a cannolo filled fresh at the counter. The route strings together stalls in two of the city's oldest markets.
After the sound check, the walk moves stall to stall through both markets, pausing at each one for questions about the food and the stallholders. A shortlist of what was shown is sent once the call ends.
This suits anyone who plans trips around markets and street food, or misses the noise and smell of one.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
