About this tour
This session shows the old town after the day visitors leave, moving from the lamplit Marktplatz into the narrow Klingengasse behind the church. You see the Rathaus tower lit from below as the square empties out for the evening. The walk finishes in a quiet lane where a carved house sign catches the light in a way it never does at midday.
We start once the square has properly emptied out, usually a little after the shops close. I keep the pace unhurried through the two stops and take questions about the town's night watchman tradition as we go. A short list of what we saw follows by message afterwards.
This suits anyone curious about the old town once the day's visitors are gone. It also works well paired with a daytime session for a fuller picture of the place.
