I grew up two streets from the Plönlein, and I still slow down every time I turn that corner because the light on the timber framing changes with the season. On my video calls I like to climb partway up the town wall early, before the day visitors arrive, so you see the roofs and the Tauber valley spread out with almost nobody else in frame. I trained as a museum guide, and I carry that habit into these calls, pointing the camera close enough that you read the carved detail on a doorway instead of passing it by. I keep the pace slow and take questions as they come.
