About this tour
This session shows Kop van Zuid after dark, when its office towers light up and reflect across the water. You see the district in a mood quite different from a daytime walk, and hear which buildings led the original redevelopment. It moves along the pier as the evening sets in.
We start at dusk and let the light change carry part of the session, then walk the pier once it is fully dark. I point out specific buildings and their place in the district's history as we go. A short note on the redevelopment follows by message.
It suits anyone who has seen the district by day and wants the evening version too. It also works well as a calm way to end an evening in the city.

Welcome and sound check 5 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Rotterdam before heading out.

Waterfront at dusk 15 min
The camera holds on the water as the light fades, and I explain how the district looks completely different once the office towers switch their lights on.

Pier walkway at night 15 min
Walking the pier after dark, you see the towers reflected on the water, and I point out which buildings were the first to go up when the redevelopment began.
