Presidential Palace and Cathedral Square by evening
Highlights
- A palace with centuries of earlier uses
- Cathedral Square in evening light
- A quieter hour in a busy place
- History told at a calmer pace
- A short walk between two landmarks
About this tour
This session walks from the Presidential Palace to Cathedral Square as evening light falls across the old town. You see the palace's courtyard gate and hear its history before it took on its current role, then the square in a quieter version of itself. It is a short walk timed for a calmer hour than the middle of the day.
I check sound at the palace gate, then walk toward the square as the light changes, answering questions as we go. A short note on the palace's earlier uses follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone who prefers quieter versions of busy places. It also pairs well with an evening terraces session.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
