I have lived in Vieux Lyon for years and know its traboules well enough to find the quiet ones tourists rarely stumble into. On camera I like moving through a passage slowly, letting the sudden change in light from street to courtyard do most of the explaining. I focus on the architecture and the history of the silk trade rather than food, since plenty of other guides already cover that ground well. I answer every question directly and try to leave time at the end for whatever detail caught someone's eye.
