Ardit Hoxha

I grew up two streets from Skanderbeg Square and used to cut through the old clock tower's courtyard on my way to school every morning. On camera I like pairing the main mosque with the clock tower beside it, since most visitors photograph both without knowing either building's actual age. My longer session goes further into the twentieth century, from a former surveillance building to an old stone bridge that somehow survived the city's rapid growth, finishing back at the main square. I studied history at the University of Tirana, and I try to explain this recent past plainly, without turning it into more than the facts actually support.
