I run the Reichsstadtmuseum sessions and I like starting inside the old convent cloister, where the stone is cool even in summer and the camera holds still for once. My background is in archive work, so I care about getting the small facts right, like which councillor's cup survives from the town's old drinking ceremony. On video I keep things fairly brief and let the objects carry the session rather than talking over them for long stretches. I also guide a shorter food call some evenings, walking through the bakery windows on Schmiedgasse instead of a museum room. Either way I like a calm pace with space for your questions.
