I have guided across Cappadocia for ten years, and Paşabağ's fairy chimneys are still the spot I find hardest to describe without simply showing them. On camera I try to get close enough that you can see the layered rock inside the caps clearly. I also cover Ortahisar Castle and its old town, and I run an early session filming balloons from a ridge above Göreme, since the shapes and colours change every single morning. I like sessions that follow the light rather than a fixed script, since the region rarely looks the same two days running.
