Diego Salcedo Ferrer

I worked for years in a shop on Calle Larios, so I still know the street's marble paving well enough to notice when a section has been replaced. On camera I walk it slowly toward the cathedral, explaining how the street was rebuilt after a 19th-century flood destroyed much of what stood before. From there I usually move to the cathedral itself, whose unfinished second tower has its own well-documented story involving funds diverted elsewhere. I keep my commentary practical and enjoy the questions people ask about the missing tower most of all.
